Can I hold an event at Virginia Avenue Park?

Virginia Avenue Park is owned by the city and is a Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) facility. Small events likely do not require permit – just know that other member of public will be able to use the park freely as well. For larger events, permitting through DPR will be required. Feel free to reach out to us and/or to DPR if you have any questions or need further clarification.

Yes! The vision is still evolving but is based off of a site plan completed by local landscape architecture firm Oehme, Van Sweden (OVS) on a pro-bono basis in 2018.
